Dr. Dong Li

Dentist

Dr. Dong Li was born in Shanghai, China and moved to Toronto with his parents at the age of 17. After high school, he attended the University of Toronto. He was on the Dean's List for 4 consecutive years and graduated with Honours Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction. He then attended the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario and graduated with Distinction. He was the recipient of Dean's Award of Excellence, Dr. Walter Teteruck Award in Fixed Prosthodontics and graduated within the top 5% of the class. Dr. Li then joined Dr. David Riddell and Dr. Rodger Doner at the Brockville Family Medical Center and later became the Principle Dentist of the practice.

Dr. Dong Li is a current member of both Canadian and Ontario Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Li is dedicated to providing outstanding oral health care in a friendly and caring environment. He constantly betters himself through continuous dental education and has taken a great interest in dental implant surgery. He has recently finished a mini residency program with Dr. Mark Lin in Toronto.

Dr. Dong Li is happily married to Sofia Wang, who's a charted accountant and now working in Brockville as well. They welcomed their son Benjamin Li in January, 2017 and Daughter Harper in May 2019. At their leisure time, they enjoy watching a good movie and taking a dive in the St. Lawrence river.

Office Manager

Kellie is that same friendly face in our front office that you have seen for the past 23 years…so far! She grew up in Brockville and graduated from Algonquin College, Dental Assisting. Kellie worked as a Dental Assistant for years, joined our practice in 2000 and turned her focus more to office administration and the management side of our practice. Kellie takes pride in implementing new and ever changing technology as they have become available from the dental field, to provide a better experience for our patients. Kellie’s passions are her Family, Friends and travel. Weekends are spent with her Family and Grandchildren. Sand, sun and surf is where you can find her during her vacations. “There is nothing better than finding a hideaway to relax and unwind.”

Kayla

Kayla was born and raised in Athens, Ontario. She attended Canadian National Institute of Health to purse her career in Dental Hygiene. Kayla is ready for the next chapter in her life and is embarking on an exciting journey by joining our dental practice at Dong Li's Family Dentistry. Kayla enjoys providing a comfortable space to educate her clients on the importance of their optimal oral health and overall well-being while making her clients feel at ease throughout their dental visit. Kayla's goal is to help her clients make informed choices regarding their oral health and to gain the confidence they deserve in their smile. You can often find Kayla enjoying Charleston Lake with Family and Friends or spending time with her Nephew.

Molly

Molly was born and raised in Brockville, Ontario. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Algonquin College in 2019. Molly is looking forward to her career with us at Dr. Dong Li’s Family Dentistry. Molly enjoys working with clients of all ages and providing client centered care in a team environment. Molly takes pride in her ability to make clients feels safe and comfortable in her chair. Client education is a top priority in her treatment plans to ensure optimal oral health and a beautiful smile. Outside the clinic Molly enjoys hiking, boating on Sand Lake, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sue Graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from the Degree Program in 1993 from the University of New England, Portland, Maine. She enjoys seeing her regular Patients and meeting new Patients joining our practice. Sue helps guide her patients in the right direct when it comes to their daily oral health routines and prevention of of disease. Sue was raised in Brockville and is very Family oriented, she has 4 grown Children. When not working Sue enjoys travelling, camping, hiking, horses and skiing.

Lucy

Dental Assistant

For the past 28 years, since Lucy graduated from Canadore College in North Bay, she has strived to help provide your top quality dental care. You can see her extending herself to patients in providing information and education regarding treatment and treatment options. Lucy has always found enjoyment in organizing and maintaining order at work, therefore, Lucy is our Chief Purchaser of dental supplies because of her incredible organizational skills. She must have a “Masters in Inventory Changement” (sometimes we can’t find where supplies were last placed!). Lucy is a fitness enthusiast and is quick to encourage and suggest healthy options. But we know her favorite Blizzard flavour is Georgian mud fudge.

Lori

Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Lori enjoys the best of both worlds with our practice. Her dual position gives her variety and enables her to interact with our patients both at the front office and chairside assisting. She has the opportunity to guide patients with every aspects of their dental care. Lori will help you at the front office by working with you and your insurance company with your financial aspects in regards to your dental claims and treatment estimates. Chairside, Lori is very passionate about patient care and wants your every experience with our office to be gentle, friendly and caring. In Lori's spare time you can find her outdoors with her dog Zoe, at the ball diamond, swimming, skiing or in her yard gardening. Lori enjoys knitting, painting and crafts.

Kirsten

Dental Assistant / Receptionist

We welcome Kirsten as a new Graduate to our office. Kirsten's versatility sees her Assisting the Dentists as well as helping out at the front desk.

Amy

Receptionist

Amy takes pride in her work helping out Patients at the front desk with scheduling around their busy lifestyles. Amy will help Patients with their benefit coverage and trying to understand it better and it works for them.

Angela

Angela is a local girl, born and raised in Brockville. She graduated as a Level II Dental Assistant from CDI College. Angela is dedicated to helping our patients with every step of their dental visit whether they are on the phone or in the office, from the minute they walk through our door, to the minute they leave our office. Angela takes great pride in making all Patients feel comfortable while helping schedule appointments and processing dental insurance claims and estimates. Angela's favorite part of our practice is our great team and our genuine care to all of our Patients. Angela feels lucky to be part of this unique office and to work with such talented and caring people. In her spare time, Angela enjoys camping with Friends and Family.
